Data Engineer

This role is fully telecommute.

Responsibilities:

• Understand data extract requirements from the data analysts
• Build ETL processes Snowflake and Teradata to achieve the desired result
• Analyze the data set requested for and report any data quality or observations with the third-party entity and internal team
• Write complex SQLs to analyze data sets for various standard extracts
• Understand complex data mappings to find issues and help developers to fix the same

TOP 3 REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent Analytical skills with sound SQL and ETL knowledge

Problem solving nature with Data experience preferably in HealthCare

Owning and delivering the tasks with minimal help

• Years of experience required: minimum 1+ Years of SQL experience
• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 0 - 2 years of related experience.
• Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. Or completion of a Centene-sponsored emerging talent program.
• One or more of the following skills are desired.

• Experience with Cloud Applications; Cloud Computing
• Experience with Big Data; Data Manipulation; Data Mining; Power Tool Operation; Python; Tableau (Business Intelligence Software)
• Experience with Other: - Experience building / operating highly available, distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
• Experience with Big Data; C# (Programming Language); Java (Programming Language); JavaScript (Programming Language); Programming Concepts; Programming Tools; Python (Programming Language); SQL (Programming Language)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Servers; SQL Server System

• Beginner - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
• Beginner - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  Additional qualities to look for: Talend/Informatia ETL or Datawarehouse background or Snowflake/Teradata with Cloud tools.
