Job Summary

The Lead Consultant for guidewire policy center and guidewire claim center will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Guidewire software solutions for policy center and claim center. The main objective is to ensure efficient utilization of Guidewire systems to meet business requirements and enhance overall operational effectiveness. (1.) Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the implementation of guidewire policy center and claim center solutions.

2. Gather and analyze business requirements to design and develop guidewire software configurations.

3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful integration and deployment of guidewire applications.

4. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team throughout the software development lifecycle.

5. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of guidewire systems to ensure optimal performance.

6. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in guidewire software solutions.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong expertise in guidewire policy center and guidewire claim center configuration and customization.

2. Proficiency in guidewire data model, rules, and integration technologies.

3. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within guidewire platform.

4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.

Certifications: Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter will be a plus.

Job Duties

  • Excellent Domain knowledge on P & C Lines of Insurance including Reinsurance handling in order to analyze the business needs of the customer
  • Elicitation of requirements through meetings, requirement workshops, documents analysis etc.
  • Need to communicate with the customers to analyze the functional requirements and to come up with Business Requirements Documents supported by other artifacts such as Use Cases, Screen Proto Type etc.
  • Strong understanding of the product associated with good analytical skills
  • Preparation of requirement specifications document without any ambiguity
  • Be the liaison between the business team and development team
  • Ability to lead the requirements gathering sessions
  • Ability to do the functional testing based on test scenarios and test cases
  • Ability to function as a mentor to motivate and train other Business Analysts
  • Preparation of Management Reports
  • Should be able to analyze the proposal (RFP) and to come up with appropriate effort estimation in coordination with other team members

Required Experience

10 + years of Domain Experience (in Underwriting and Claims Handling)

6+ years of IT Experience

Required Skill Set

  • Good working knowledge in MS Office products such as MS Word, Excel, Visio etc.
  • Good hands on experience in GW ClaimCenter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure situations
  • Ensuring quality in deliverables
