Description
We are looking for a dedicated IT Administrator to join our engineering team in Kerrville, Texas. This role is ideal for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of five years of experience in IT administration and support. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining critical infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to end-users, addressing technical issues and ensuring seamless functionality.
Oversee and manage Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Maintain and optimize key infrastructure components, including servers, firewalls, routers, and switches.
Collaborate with external vendors to ensure effective service delivery and manage vendor relationships.
Deliver executive-level IT support to senior leadership, handling sensitive issues with discretion and efficiency.
Monitor system performance and implement upgrades or changes to enhance operations.
Apply troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex technical problems independently or collaboratively.
Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery processes are in place to safeguard data and systems.
Stay updated on emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Assist in the deployment and management of cloud-based technologies to support organizational needs.
Requirements
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in IT administration and support.
Proficiency in Cisco, Citrix, and Dell technologies.
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies and Active Directory.
Experience with backup systems and disaster recovery planning.
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and cluster analysis.
Ability to manage computer hardware and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
