Senior SRE

I am currently partnered with a billing and revenue management software company based in Downtown Austin. They are searching for a Senior SRE/Ops Engineer who will be responsible for designing, automating, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-availability systems using modern DevOps practices. They are in search of someone with a deep expertise in AWS, Python, and Terraform with a strong background in infrastructure pipelines and databases.

Details:

• Permanent, Full-Time Position


• Salary Range: $130k - $150k


• Location: Hybrid - Based in Austin, TX (3 days on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform


• Deploy and manage containerized services with Kubernetes


• Automate operational workflows and tooling using Python


• Manage and support Linux systems in production environments


• Optimize and maintain MySQL/MariaDB databases


• Support production systems and participate in incident response/on-call rotation


• Ensure infrastructure and deployments meet compliance and security standards

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience working with information technology with a Bachelors of Computer Science.


• 6+ years AWS, Terraform, Python, and Linux.


• 6+ years of experience in designing, maintaining, optimizing, and supporting Kubernetes.


• 6+ years of experience with SQL


• 6+ years of experience in Jenkins.


• 6+ years of experience of load balancing or high availability architecture


• 7+ years of experience in installing, configuring, and performing routine troubleshooting and performance evaluation tasks in Linux environments.
