Job Description:

Job Title: Hybrid Systems Administrator & Hardware Technician

Must sit onsite in one of the following locations:
  • Columbia, MD
  • San Antonio, TX
  • Manassas, VA

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph

Work Environment: Work onsite in a secure SCIF facility

Contract Type: 1-year term (with potential for extension)

Start Date: Immediate need

Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and security-cleared professional to join our team in a hybrid role that combines system administration and hardware diagnostics. This individual will be responsible for system triage, identifying sources of hardware failures, and recommending appropriate actions to resolve cases. The role involves close collaboration with internal support managers and requires familiarity with proprietary tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and manage incident tickets/cases
  • Troubleshoot systems to diagnose hardware issues
  • Run diagnostic tools and collect relevant hardware logs
  • Analyze system logs using proprietary diagnostic platforms
  • Assess OS patch levels and verify firmware versions
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions based on findings
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure timely resolution

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in Systems / Hardware
  • Experience in both system administration and hardware diagnostics
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools and internal support workflows
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently in a secure, high-stakes environment
  • Active Full Scope Polygraph clearance (NSA)
  • Must be able to work onsite in a SCIF facility
