Job Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Analyst who brings deep expertise in compensation strategy and execution, along with a strong foundation in People Operations. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role-ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can operate independently with minimal oversight.

You'll be instrumental in supporting compensation cycles, job architecture, and HRIS processes during a critical bandwidth crunch. While compensation is the core focus, your ability to flex into People Ops will be a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute compensation-related activities including:
    • Job architecture design and title alignment (especially post-M&A)
    • Salary range development and career grid recommendations
    • One-time payments, title/reporting changes, and promotion/merit letters
  • Perform audits, reconciliations, and advanced spreadsheet analysis
  • Manage HRIS compensation module tasks and bulk data loads
  • Generate documentation and letters for end-of-year compensation cycles
  • Collaborate closely with compensation and data partners, as well as cross-functional stakeholders
  • Operate as a "boots-on-the-ground" contributor-this is not a consulting role

Required Qualifications
  • 5-8 years of hands-on compensation experience in dynamic environments
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver without handholding
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • Excel/Google Sheets: PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, audits, reconciliations
    • HRIS Systems (e.g., Workday): Compensation module, bulk data loads, business process support
  • Experience with M&A integration, especially around titling and job alignment
  • Strong understanding of job architecture, career frameworks, and compensation strategy
