Overview:
We’re seeking a hands-on Jira Systems Administrator with strong stakeholder-facing skills to lead the consolidation of 37 Jira environments into a unified system. This role blends Jira administration, business analysis, and product ownership to drive adoption, build workflows, and support IT managers in leveraging Jira effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Jira: manage users, permissions, workflows, screens, fields, and notifications
- Customize Jira for stakeholder needs; build dashboards and automate ticket flows
- Lead Jira training and adoption across IT teams (0–75% usage currently)
- Support integration of BigPicture (Atlassian marketplace tool) for reporting
- Partner with IT managers to unify and streamline Jira usage across 37 sites
- Document configurations and provide ongoing support
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Jira Admin, ideally with BA/Product Owner background
- Experience customizing Jira for cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools; BigPicture experience is a plus
- No scripting/API work required
