TEKsystems is hiring a Voice Network Engineer, which will be a hybrid role located in Maryland Heights.
As a member of the Voice Services department, the Voice Network Engineer will support and enhance a large-scale enterprise voice network. This role involves the design, implementation, administration, and support of advanced voice technologies including SIP core infrastructure, Session Border Controllers, CTI applications, call recording, and workforce management systems. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure high availability and performance of voice services across the firm.

The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure high availability and performance of voice services across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice service issues across various platforms (Avaya, Cisco, Zoom, etc.)
- Develop automated, platform-agnostic health checks and monitoring tools
- Improve service delivery and support efficiency year-over-year
- Implement solutions following industry and firm standards for change management
- Maintain and document system architecture, call flows, and configurations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
- Experience with Linux systems and scripting
- Strong understanding of telecom and network architecture, SIP protocols, and IP routing
- Familiarity with SNMP, SYSLOG, IVR platforms, and call recording solutions
- Preferred experience with Avaya Aura, Cisco UC, Verint systems, and large-scale VoIP networks
