JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with strong experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our engineering team. This role demands a hands-on technologist who thrives in solving complex technical challenges and has a proven ability to design and implement robust, scalable solutions in cloud-native environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and AWS services.
  • Architect and implement microservices, serverless functions, and RESTful APIs leveraging Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Drive cloud adoption best practices, including security, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to industry standards.
  • Manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure using CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform).
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams in Agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party observability tools.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong programming expertise in C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Proven experience developing scalable applications and services hosted on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS components: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and serverless computing.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, and familiarity with container orchestration using ECS or EKS.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server or other relational databases, including performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, clean code, and software architecture principles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate certification.
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Blazor) is a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
