Role: Data Modeler (Snowflake & Databricks)
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)
Job Type: W2 Contract Only

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in enterprise data modeling, data warehousing, data profiling, and managing both structured and unstructured datasets. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to design, optimize, and validate data models that support complex business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, data analysis, and data profiling
- Ability to identify data patterns, trends, inconsistencies, and anomalies
- Strong experience with AWS services including S3, AWS Glue, EMR, IAM
- Hands-on expertise in one or more query languages: SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, SparkSQL, Scala
- Experience working with relational databases such as Teradata
- Experience handling structured and unstructured data
- Proficiency in one or more data modeling tools such as:
- Erwin
- Power Designer
- ER Studio
Preferred / Ideal to Have:
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with NoSQL and non-relational data stores:
- Object storage
- Document stores
- Key-value stores
- Graph databases
- Column-family databases
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks
Good to Have:
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of financial industry metrics and business processes
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Developer certifications
