Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering

Minimum Requirements:
5 years of experience in:
Computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, RESTful services, and Entity Framework
Coding, testing, and debugging of programs in development or requiring support for issue resolution, performance, or enhancement
Logical information processing, program/system logic design, and preparation of program specifications
Angular development, including TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and component-based architecture
PL/SQL programming and design in Oracle Database
Oral and written communication at a highly developed level
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate team members, and elicit work output
4 years of experience in:
Understanding IT industry trends, directions, and market experience, and applying them to organizational needs
Architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, and organizational structure
Tools, techniques, and best practices for protecting corporate data integrity and processing, including technology standards and procedures
Solution delivery using Agile or Scrum methodology
Preferred Experience:
2 years of experience in:
Familiarity with the company's information architecture and information management methodologies
Understanding of existing and planned software technology, including global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components

Summary:
We are seeking a Software Developer II with 4-7 years of experience to support the development and maintenance of enterprise applications for HHSC.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills in C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and Oracle, along with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, code, and modify complex applications using:
C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, RESTful services
Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI)
Oracle Database (PL/SQL)
Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation of software components
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards
Collaborate with trainers, support staff, and network specialists to:
Modify or update existing systems
Investigate and resolve production issues
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Communicate development status and coordinate efforts with team members
Contribute to system documentation and knowledge sharing
