HIPAA Security Consultant / Full-time

This computer security services company focuses on protecting healthcare data, and they are looking for a HIPAA Security Analyst. This person will be very involved in ensuring HIPAA and HITRUST compliance for any and all customer data to ensure privacy, identifying security gaps, creating policies and controls, and more. This is a full-time position that can be fully remote anywhere in the US.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience within the GRC space, specifically within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. Any IT auditing experience would be a huge plus but is not required. Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of professional experience in governance, risk, and compliance
  • NIST, ISO
  • HIPAA and/or HITRUST
• At least one relevant security certification (CISA, CISM, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• IT auditing experience
• Experience working in the healthcare industry
• Bachelor's degree
