Role: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Onsite(San Antonio, Tx)
Must be on our W2 - No H1 visas
Required skills:
- SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures)
- Power BI (DAX, M queries, dashboard design)
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
Desired/nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of federal regulations including but not limited to Regulations E, Z, CC, J, AA, UCC article 4, NACHA rules/regulations
- Monarch experience and use of Fidelity applications
- Exceptional knowledge of Advanced Excel and VBA Macros
Intermediate - 5+ years experience in BI/Dashboard development
Role Overview:
• Deliver advanced analytics and business intelligence for Payment Services operations.
• Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and data pipelines.
• Provide actionable insights through data mining and statistical analysis.
Key Activities / Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain operational, executive, and control dashboards.
• Monitor and report KPIs across various timeframes (daily to yearly).
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and streamline reporting processes.
• Create visualizations to support decision-making across departments.
• Build tools (forms, templates, macros) to capture operational data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into reporting solutions.
• Communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Integrate data from multiple sources using Power BI and related tools.
Requested Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science).
• 5+ years in BI reporting and dashboard development.
• Advanced skills in:
o Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Visio, VBA)
o SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures)
o Power BI (DAX, M queries, dashboard design)
o SSIS, SSRS, Power Apps
• Strong organizational, time management, and independent work capabilities.
• Experience with large data sets and data integration.
What We Will Require:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in quantitative analytics field such as cognitive science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, or Data Science. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in designing and developing business intelligence reporting solutions. Must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Visio, Access and VBA, SSIS, SSRS, Power Apps and Power BI. Advanced working knowledge of pivot tables, string functions, lookups, macro development, code development in VBA, SQL queries, stored procedures, DAX queries, and M queries. Experience in participating in multiple projects and ability to work with minimal supervision showing creativity, innovation, motivation, initiative and professionalism. Experience compiling large volumes of data into usable formats. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization of Power BI Dashboards. Experience with data integration of Power BI with external data sets and systems.

Exceptional knowledge of Advanced Excel and VBA Macros. Expert understanding of Power BI, or Tableau. Ability to write and execute data analysis expressions, queries and functions in Power BI. Advanced knowledge of databases, statistics, and data mining.
