Role: SAP FICO Consultant
Onsite Role
Description
The Senior SAP FICO Functional Specialist is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes. This role will serve as the finance subject matter expert and strategic partner
to Accounting, FP&A, and Operational Finance teams to deliver business-aligned solutions. The consultant will support ongoing stabilization and continuous improvement following our successful go-live with RISE with SAP.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the SAP FICO functional SME in a post-go-live RISE with SAP environment.
  • Lead configuration and support for key modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather requirements and implement process improvements aligned to business goals.
  • Ensure proper integration of FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and Project Systems.
  • Support month-end close, cost center planning, profitability analysis, and internal orders.
  • Work closely with technical teams to develop and test custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Lead UAT and training activities for new system functionalities and process changes.
  • Ensure financial processes meet compliance, audit, and reporting requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and participate in future SAP roadmap planning.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, including configuration specs, SOPs, and process flows.
