Job Title:

Expert IT Specialist (12-month contract)

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join the Client Services team for a 12month engagement. The role focuses on advanced technical support, proactive problem-solving, and ensuring high customer satisfaction across IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and prioritize IT incident and problem tickets, assessing business impact and urgency.

  • Take ownership of customer issues, resolving incidents promptly and communicating progress to stakeholders.

  • Provide mentorship and act as a technical resource for other support technicians.

  • Install, configure, and deploy computer hardware, software, peripherals, and network devices.

  • Migrate user data and profiles during computer replacements; deploy new business applications.

  • Coordinate with Data Center Operations for user data storage, backups, and account management (AD, email, Citrix, etc.).

  • Collaborate with application development teams to troubleshoot customer-level issues and support technical resolutions.

  • Work with network teams to identify and detail customer-level network issues to support resolution.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and recommend technical improvements.

Project Management:

  • Lead small to medium projects, including directing team efforts and integrating individual strengths for project success.

  • Provide regular status updates to management.

Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain process and procedure documentation aligned with internal Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and external Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Conduct annual reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.

System Security:

  • Adhere to IT security policies and implement required security measures.

  • Protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking protocols, and peripherals.

  • Experience in user support, ticket management, and incident resolution.

  • Proven ability to mentor technical staff and guide team efforts.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
