The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) has an opportunity available for a Servicenow Developer to support our client located in United States.
Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 hourly on W2 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
Sr ServiceNow Developer
Location: Remote, but would love someone in vicinity of Cary, NC or Richardson, TX
Duration: 6+ month extendable contract (Project is through 2027)
Sr Service Now Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and implementing robust ServiceNow solutions that optimize our business processes and enhance user experience. You will be instrumental in leveraging the full power of the ServiceNow platform, with a particular focus on ITSM, CSM, Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), UI Builder/Now Framework, and developing custom scoped applications. Candidates must be flexible and able to work outside of ServiceNow, particularly with system integrations.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of extensive experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a proven track record of successful implementations and customizations
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules, including significant experience with configuration, workflow design, and process automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including case management, and customer service processes
- Proficiency in the UI Builder Now Framework, with demonstrated experience in building custom pages, components, and experiences
- Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying custom scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform
- Familiarity with or direct experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Resource Management
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, Glide Record, Glide Form, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies relevant to ServiceNow development.
- Experience with various ServiceNow development tools and methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, security models, and data privacy principles
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are highly desirable
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, SQL, or PowerShell for automation
- Most importantly we are looking for a proactive self-motivated individual who is always willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Job Summary:
- Lead the design, development, configuration, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards
- Work extensively with ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management) and CSM (Customer Service Management) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to support project, demand, and portfolio management processes
- Utilize the UI Builder Now Framework to create intuitive, user-friendly, and highly customizable portal experiences and workspaces
- Develop and maintain custom scoped applications from concept to deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using various integration methods (e.g., REST, SOAP, JDBC)
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers and team members
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, define scope, and then translate these inputs into a ServiceNow application
- Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends, proactively recommending and implementing innovative solutions
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, development guides, and test plans.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.
