Job Details

Looking for an Epic Tapestry Configuration/Technical Analyst opportunity focused on claims, benefits, and provider contract configuration. This role requires deep hands-on Tapestry build experience specifically with pricing logic, adjudication rules, benefit/product setup, and auto-adjudication workflows.

The team is also prioritizing talent with Texas Medicaid expertise, including familiarity with HHSC requirements, THSteps/EPSDT, encounters, and Texas-specific billing and periodicity schedules.

The Epic Tapestry Configuration Analyst will function as a senior expert supporting both Claims Operations and IT.
They will:
Review, diagnose, and redesign complex provider contract configuration
Evaluate current logic, identify breakpoints, and propose modernized alternatives
Reduce adjustments and improve adjudication
Rebuild the THSteps contract in test environments using compliant config and modern Epic practices
Coach client analysts on best practices while remaining politically neutral
Translate operational requirements from Claims into technical builds for IT
Identify gaps in documentation, workflows, and Epic capability awareness
Provide insights on Epic release impacts relevant to Texas Medicaid
This is not a typical ticket taker role. It requires creative problem solving, strong communication, and ability to work across silos.

We need candidates with strong technical Tapestry build experience and enjoy complex configuration redesigns or cleanup projects. Epic Tapestry Certification (Contracts, Benefits, Claims) is also required.
