Location: West Chester, PA (Hybrid as per client need)

Job Description:

We are seeking a TypeScript API Automation Engineer with strong experience in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments and have hands-on experience building and executing automation scripts using TypeScript for API validation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for RESTful APIs using TypeScript.

  • Perform manual and automation testing (50/50 split) as per project requirements.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.

  • Work closely with development and QA teams to identify, log, and resolve defects.

  • Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration and ensure automation scripts are included in builds.

  • Validate complex telecom billing workflows and ensure end-to-end data accuracy.

  • Prepare detailed test reports and maintain testing documentation.


Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in TypeScript and API automation testing.

  • Proficiency in RESTful API validation, integration testing, and test case design.

  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks supporting TypeScript-based API testing.

  • Working knowledge of manual testing processes and test execution best practices.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test reporting tools.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to telecom billing systems or related domains.

  • Experience working with Postman, Newman, or similar API validation tools.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
