Software Engineer (Java/C#)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Software Engineer (Java/C#).

Responsibilities:
* Deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
* Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy
* Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary
* Partnership across the development discipline

REQUIREMENTS:
* Expert in core Java technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot with a background in C# development
* Proficient in databases and SQL
* Understanding of Content Management Systems a huge plus
* Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as ECS and Docker
* Experience with Apache Kafka or other similar technologies a plus
* Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as SNS and SQS a plus
* An understanding of microservice architectures and twelve factor app patterns
* Experience with unit and integration test automation using JUnit
* Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
