RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Systems Engineer III in Redmond, WA.
Overview:
The Design Verification Engineer will be a member of the Avionics team, focusing on the design verification of the various electrical functions of high-performance communication systems. They will focus on PCB Assembly design verification and will be taking designs from subsystem testing and initial build, through functional testing and system performance validation. They will lead a variety of tasks such as board level bring-up and test for newly designed PCBA. They will write and execute design verification plans for power and signal integrity verification for standard and custom communication interfaces between Integrated circuits and circuit boards. They will ensure proper data collection, reviews, and demonstrate the system requirement verification. They will be part of a multidisciplinary avionics design team and work closely with PCBA design engineers, harness engineers, FPGA and embedded SW developers as well as system and integration engineers.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of experience in board level design verification for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics products
* 5+ years of experience developing requirements, plans, and procedures for product design verification
* 5+ years of experience in the use of standard electronic lab test equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
* 5+ years of experience in design verification of high-speed interfaces, signal integrity and protocol compliance
* 5+ years of experience testing power regulators (switching, LDOs)
* Solid understanding of EE and test fundamentals
* Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
