Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Appian Developer with 8+ years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years of hands-on expertise in Appian BPM development. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end business process applications using the Appian platform. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop dynamic and scalable Appian applications and interfaces.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions using Appian BPM.

  • Develop custom plugins, smart services, and Appian interfaces.

  • Lead the design and architecture of Appian solutions in alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Optimize and maintain existing Appian applications for performance and scalability.

  • Conduct unit and system integration testing and support UAT.

  • Provide mentorship to junior Appian developers and participate in code reviews.

  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems (REST, SOAP, databases, etc.).

  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with SDLC and Appian best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 5 years of strong Appian development experience.

  • Appian Level 2 or Level 3 Certified (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture, records, reports, interfaces, and process models.

  • Experience in Appian plug-in development and integration with third-party systems.

  • Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong understanding of Appian security, user roles, and SAIL design patterns.

  • Working knowledge of Appian DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Deployment Automation).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
