Job Description:
We are searching for the best talent for a Leader, Digital Learning Technology & Capabilities located in Tampa, FL on a hybrid basis.
The Leader, Digital Learning Technology & Capabilities plays a pivotal role in enabling the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of high-quality, branded, accessible, and scalable learning products within the Learning Experience Strategy & Solutions (LXSS) organization. This role leads a team focused on integrating and operationalizing digital tools and AI-enabled technologies to accelerate and enhance the design and creation of learning content, curation and build of learning channels/journeys/pathways, and localization of learning content.
Reporting directly to the Head of LXSS, this leader is responsible for selecting, testing, implementing, and continuously improving the digital tools used by LXSS team-including authoring platforms, AI co-creation tools, accessibility checkers, localization tools, and content deployment solutions. This includes ensuring alignment with broader enterprise platforms such as corporate Learning Experience Platform (LXP), while maintaining a focus on what enables better, faster, future-ready learning design and development.

Core Responsibilities
Tool & Platform Strategy
- Identify and manage a portfolio of tools that directly support the design and development of learning assets (e.g., AI-assisted authoring, visual design, translation/localization, accessibility tools).
- Assess team needs and industry trends to recommend digital solutions that improve design quality, speed to market, and learner experience.
- Work closely with peer teams including Learning Experience Design (LXD), Media Studio, eLearning Development, and Quality Assurance to ensure tool selection supports product requirements and brand standards.
Integration & Implementation
- Lead integration efforts of LXSS learning products with broader corporate platforms (e.g., integrating learning products into the company's LMS, LCMS, & LXP platforms)
- Develop processes and guidance for using GenAI Council-approved tools and platforms (e.g., Smartcat, Vyond, Storyline, Rise) within the LXSS team workflows to maximize speed to market, scalability, and learner accessibility.
- Collaborate with Enterprise IT and Digital teams to ensure compatibility and compliance during tool implementation.
Team Leadership & Capacity Planning
- Lead and manage piloting, implementing, and reporting on the value of utilizing AI digital tools and platforms to design & develop learning experiences
- Lead and manage business content onboarding, design, curation, and build within the corporate LXP platform.
- Provide coaching, prioritization, and technical enablement to ensure tools are well adopted and embedded in workflows across LXSS.
- Allocate team resources and capacity to meet current and emerging priorities.
Governance, Training & Change Adoption
- Define usage guidelines, standards, and training plans for tool adoption across LXSS roles.
- Serve as liaison to GenAI Council, Procurement, Legal, and Privacy teams for AI/digital tool risk reviews and contract oversight.
- Partner with LXSS Learning Service Excellence team to measure tool performance, track adoption metrics, and continuously improve user experience.
Special Initiatives & Innovation
- Monitor external trends in AI, automation, and digital learning enablement and evaluate for future adoption.
- Lead or sponsor innovation pilots, playbooks, or process improvements that support LXSS 2030 goals for agility, personalization, and accessibility.
- Proactively assess feedback loops and seek out opportunities to streamline learning product development workflows using digital enablers.
Additional LXSS Enablement Expectations
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the Head of LXSS.
- Maintain active awareness of LXSS learning asset types, production needs, and design standards to ensure the right tools are in place.
- Contribute to the digital maturity and operational excellence of the LXSS organization.
- Support internal efforts to build community, celebrate accomplishments, and drive an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Learning Systems, or a related field required; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in digital learning, learning tool implementation, or instructional technology support.
- Experience managing people and cross-functional projects.
- Strong knowledge of learning product development workflows and tools (e.g., authoring, translation, accessibility, content management).
- Familiarity with integrating learning content into enterprise platforms such as LXPs, LMS, LCMS, etc.
- Excellent vendor management, stakeholder communication, and change enablement skills.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
