A global bank is seeking Application Developer ( .NET or C#) to join their New York office. The Global Markets Post Trade IT team is dedicated to supporting four core business lines: Macro/Commodities, GSF, Equity Solutions, and Credit. The Application Developer ( .NET or C#) will focus specifically on post-trade fixed income solutions, working in a fast-paced environment alongside our end-users. Our initiatives include local projects as well as global collaborations with our Head Office in Europe and our Asian platform.
- Take ownership of both in-house and vendor-provided software solutions related to post-trade fixed income processes.
- Ensure high-quality deliveries by adhering to best practices in software development and testing.
- Improve and maintain technical documentation for development processes and solutions.
- Prepare, deliver, and track platform releases, ensuring seamless interaction with other teams and stakeholders.
Skills
- Technical Degree or related discipline
- Experience in designing and building applications
- Design and develop in-house applications and software solutions specifically for post-trade fixed income operations.
- Utilize .NET and C# technologies to build and enhance equity-related applications.
- In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
- 5-9 years of experience
- Experience with trading systems Summit or equivalent
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
