Job Description
We're seeking a Lead DAS Technician to support the installation of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) across high-profile data centers and commercial buildings. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who's already doing the work - but wants to do it somewhere that offers serious career growth, financial upside, and the chance to work alongside top-tier teams including IES and Microsoft personnel.

We're seeking a Lead DAS Technician to support the installation of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) across high-profile data centers and commercial buildings. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who's already doing the work - but wants to do it somewhere that offers serious career growth, financial upside, and the chance to work alongside top-tier teams including IES and Microsoft personnel.
What You'll Do
- Lead installation of DAS components including antennas, coaxial/fiber cabling, remote units, and base station controllers
- Route and secure coaxial, fiber optic, and other cables through ceilings, walls, and conduits
- Terminate coax using JMA, NM, DIN, QMA, SMA, N-type, 4.3-10, RFS connectors
- Mount and align antennas in ceilings, rooftops, and other strategic locations
- Integrate systems by wiring and connecting base stations, repeaters, and remote units
- Install power systems and backup solutions (batteries, generators)
- Perform grounding and safety measures per industry standards
- Conduct initial testing, walk testing, and document results
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues, collaborating with RF engineers
- Maintain safety compliance while working at heights, in noisy environments, and extreme climates
- Provide ongoing maintenance, inspections, and client support
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth execution
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading DAS installations using Aircell, Radiax, RG142, Superflex, LMR, Trilogy, Coax
- Expertise in coax termination with various connector types
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed installation plans
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Reliable transportation and your own tools
- Comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy equipment, and navigating challenging environments
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in telecom, electrical engineering, or related fields
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with RFS and JMA Wireless DAS components
- Experience working in data centers or large commercial environments
- Ability to collaborate with RF engineers and technical teams
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
