Server and Windows Consultant - Hybrid

Job Description:

My client is seeking leased employee resources to support in providing Server and Windows infrastructure consulting services. The resources must be experienced in supporting enterprise virtualization, storage, VDI, Windows Server, and Windows 11 environments to support modernization and security initiatives. Contractors will perform system upgrades, security remediation, patching, troubleshooting, and infrastructure enhancements to ensure reliability, compliance, and performance of mission-critical systems. Each contractor will support multiple infrastructure platforms and projects. Contractors will lead and support Windows 11 image development and deployment, Windows Server build and maintenance activities, virtualization and storage support, and large-scale upgrade initiatives in accordance with client policies and standards for technology development, security, and change management. Contractors will also participate across the IT infrastructure community, provide knowledge transfer, and be able to represent the status of efforts and health of supported systems and environments.

Mandatory Requirements

Staff #1: Server Consultant - 1

• Minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience with virtualization software, such as VMWare and Oracle Virtual Machine (VM), including planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, operations, and upgrade activities and 13 resolution of complex issues.

• Minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience supporting and troubleshooting complex Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) issues.

• Minimum of ten (10) years of combined experience with server installation, configuration, support, maintenance, troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Active Directory and other Microsoft back-office products, and upgrading and patching Windows Server operating systems.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience planning, installing, configuring and upgrading Windows Server 2012/2019 operating system.
