Role: Systems Analyst/Programmer (MDM, Postgres SQL,SSIS. SSRS)
Location: Indianapolis IN - 100% ONSITE
NOTE: Candidate must be currently located in Indiana to be considered for this position.
Duration: 6 months
Resource will be responsible for the activities of an Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer of Master Data Management team of State of Indiana's child welfare system, which is built on a PostgreSQL/Ruby on Rails/SQL Server/ASP .Net platform.
Candidate must be currently located in Indiana to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
Design and develop interactive and dynamic reports for business intelligence.
Maintenance and Operations on current reports which may require modifications.
Work on Integration of data from various sources into a unified system.
Assist in design and implementation of Master Data Management solutions.
Proactive in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and data quality issues.
Adhere to SQL Development best practices.
Meet project deadlines and requirements while working in an independent and remote role.
Communicate progress, needs, and planning with supervisors on a weekly basis, or as requested.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Information Technology Experience
- Data Analytics and Reporting
- Experience in Postgres SQL
- Strong programming skills in languages like T-SQL, PL/pgSQL or other relevant languages
- Experience with data migration, ETL processes and data transformation using SSIS
- Master Data Management
- Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Knowledge of reports deployment, scheduling and security in SSRS
- Atlassian Tools
Desires skills:
Experience with databases design, schema creation and maintenance
Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) including the lastest versions Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI
