We are seeking a seasoned HR Functional Lead to support a largescale HCM implementation, serving as the second-in command to the HR Program Manager. This role will provide functional oversight to HR Process Leads and may lead one or more workstreams, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Reporting. The ideal candidate has deep Workday implementation experience and thrives in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Act as functional deputy to the HR Program Manager, overseeing workstream coordination and ensuring alignment across all HR functional areas.

Provide direction and daily support to HR Process Leads to drive deliverables, manage risks, and ensure cross-functional integration.

Lead one or more functional workstreams through all phases of the project: discovery, design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into system designs and configurations in partnership with HR, IT, and implementation partners.

Troubleshoot issues, facilitate resolutions, and support timely decision making across functional and technical tracks.

Track progress, ensure documentation is completed, and prepare teams for UAT and go-live.

Support change management, training input, and stakeholder communication to ensure adoption readiness.

Required Skills:

6+ years of experience in HRIS/HCM projects with at least 2 full-cycle Workday implementations.

Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes and functional interdependencies.

Experience in managing multiple workstreams or process areas during implementations.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and accelerated timelines.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Able to operate independently and collaborate across global and cross-functional teams.

Compensation:

Salary range for California residents only: Between $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
