About the Role
We're seeking a highly experienced Data Management Consultant to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you'll serve as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert on complex, high-impact data initiatives. You'll work cross-functionally to design and implement scalable data solutions that drive business outcomes and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and consult on enterprise-scale data management strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Solve complex data challenges using advanced analytical thinking, creativity, and innovation.
- Provide thought leadership on data governance, architecture, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to deliver long-term, scalable solutions.
- Guide the adoption of best practices in data quality, integration, and analytics.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data management, business analysis, analytics, or project management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts including NLP, predictive modeling, and clustering.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data warehousing/lake solutions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Exposure to big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Industry knowledge in sectors such as finance, healthcare, or retail.
