Eliassen Group is seeking an amazing Fullstack engineer to join an incredible and collaborative team in the Dallas TX area. Our organization wants to find someone ready to communicate positively with other engineers, business leaders, product-side professionals, and others who make an impact to what we call the "digital platforms" team. The digital platforms team, at this time, is ONLY seeking those who are ready to work across teams to deliver amazing customer-facing solutions. Ideal candidate should easily work well with others across disciplines, with a main focus on Java, Spring, Angular, and anything associated with the full SDLC (testing of Java applications with JUnit, Angular with Karma/Jasmine) as well as work needed within DevOps stacks (CICD, orchestration with Apache Camel, and/or work within AWS).

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to create, test, deploy, and solution within Java and it's related technologies (Spring framework, MVC, microservices, and Maven)
  • Design and optimize all front end SPA web pages using Angular, test your code with Karma/Jasmine
  • Craft incredible software solutions able to meet both immediate needs for end users, as well as long term scalable and maintainable technical solutions as it pertains to server-side and mid-tier languages, libraries, and frameworks
  • Work alongside other team members for enterprise level best practices as it pertains to architecture, orchestration, testing, and anything within our release patterns and sprint cycles, sometimes this will mean Docker containerization work within AWS, and working on application management within AWS Consoles
  • Work as needed across teams on ensuring the work you (and your team) is doing is accessible to all audiences, for example, working towards sets of standards for making web content accessible to people with various disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, cognitive, and neurological impairments, create awesome end user experiences for anyone who comes across the layers of code, whether it be business logic, front end, database, or anything in between as a true fullstack consultant

Experience Requirements:
  • Amazing interpersonal skills, you must be able to convey complex technical ideas to all audiences, you must be able to collaborate and foster working relationships across product lines in a global and elite team of architects, analysts, developers, and product-side professionals in an agile setting
  • 5+ years of experience as an engineer, bonus points for as much fullstack work, ideally with previous experiences in automation/test frameworks, UI frameworks (Angular) and any associated technology such as NodeJS, AG Grid, NPM, or equivalent TypeScript/JavaScript experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Java, preferably not legacy struts, but ideally version 8, perhaps even beyond with 11, 17, our team utilizes modern cutting edge versions of stable frameworks, and the role will require someone able to work with functional programming, lambda, streams, and the role will require good knowledge of the Spring Framework (SpringBoot, Microservices, REST API, strong experience with web services, et cetera)

Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree - either within Computer Science, or equivalent (Software Engineering, Mathematics, Design, or a related field in science and engineering) is required
