As a member of the OptumRx Clinical Engagement Solutions team, the Agile Product Owner will play a key role in supporting the delivery and optimization of clinical capabilities across omnichannel communications and digital platforms. This remote, contract-to-perm role is responsible for translating business requirements into actionable user stories, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-value functionality. The Agile Product Owner will work closely with the Intake Manager, Capability Managers, and Business Stakeholders to align on priorities. This role supports the strategic execution of features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals, agile delivery practices, and data governance standards.
The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in agile product ownership, backlog management, and healthcare technology. Experience with Pega applications is required, and familiarity with Rally for feature and backlog management is strongly preferred. Candidates should be available from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. We are looking for a self-directed, collaborative, and detail-oriented professional who can solve moderately complex problems, coach others, and serve as a resource across the team.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage the scrum team to guide and provide feedback for timely delivery of business prioritized features
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity and feasibility of features.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Monitor delivery progress and remove blockers to ensure timely execution.
- Partner with technology teams to validate functionality and support testing.
- Use Rally to manage features, track progress, and communicate updates.
- Support continuous improvement of agile processes and team collaboration.

Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in agile delivery roles.
- Proven experience working with Pega applications in a product or delivery capacity.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and backlog management.
- Experience with Rally or similar agile management tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare or PBM environments is a plus.
