The Lockheed Martin Space FBM Program is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer- Senior Staff to join our team in Denver, Colorado.

As an Electrical Systems Engineer - Senior Staff on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will:

The Systems Engineer Senior Staff / Test Architect will lead the development and execution of integration and test activities across multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), ensuring consistency and compliance with program requirements and industry standards.

This role will provide technical leadership and guidance to IPTs, develop and maintain standardized processes and procedures, and identify areas for process improvement.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Successful candidate will typically have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering or related technical discipline with a minimum of 14 years of related professional work experience.

Basic Qualifications

Prior education or professional experience in Engineering
Experience in Systems Integration leading cross-functional teams
Demonstrated expertise in test planning, including the development of comprehensive test strategies, derivation of test requirements, and execution of physical test events that ensure thorough validation of system performance
Active Secret Clearance required prior to start
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required

Desired skills

10+ years of experience in systems integration and test, with a focus on leading integration activities and developing test plans and strategies
Proven experience as a Systems Integrator, with a strong track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve integrated system solutions
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including integration, test, and validation
Skilled in the preparation of detailed test reports, data analysis, and review of test results to inform system design, development, and deployment decisions
Adept at facilitating data-driven discussions and presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a focus on driving informed decision-making and process improvement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience integrating across functional organizations.
MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project
Experience with DOORS, DOORS Next, or other requirement management tool
Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with integration and test activities
Experience with process improvement and implementation of changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to team members and IPTs
Experience with compliance and governance, including program requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with integration and test activities
Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to develop and deliver reports on integration and test progress, status, and issues
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including integration, test, and validation
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
