Job Position: Documentation Specialist I

Job Location: 100% Remote

Job Duration: 12 Months Contract (Possibility of Conversion to FTE)

Duties:

• Actual Job Title is Google Cloud Analyst

Skills:

The ideal candidate would be able to incorporate Google Translate API using the Google Cloud Platform into our product documentation, and update with translations we receive. They would be responsible to monitoring Google Analytics for documentation trends, create reports, and be able to generate information in real time. Be able to work under pressure and meet release deadlines. Able to work remotely with regular hours.

• Connect our website to Google Translate API.
• Be able to work with translation team and implement translated content into documentation.
• Be able to generate quarterly reports from Google Analytics that are relevant to product documentation.
• Be able to answer questions real-time or near-real-time from stakeholders.
• Use Jira to track issues.
• Provide candid, meaningful feedback and regular progress updates to the team and customer.
• Be the technical voice for your team, advocating technical direction, and encouraging innovation among your client stakeholders.

Skills:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Google Cloud Platform and Google Translate API.
• Experience with networking, infrastructure, and security technologies.
• Proficient in building analytics solutions.
• Must possess good programming skills with any of the programming languages such as Java, Python, C, R.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements.
• A lifelong learner with a knack for picking up new technologies quickly; able to apply core concepts across different technologies and frameworks.
• Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to handle stressful, time-critical projects and deliver great user outcomes.
• Proficiency in a second language (such as French-Canada, Latin America-Spanish, Brazil-Portuguese, Simplified-Chinese, or Japanese) is a plus.
