What will your day look like? As a Network Security Engineer - Fortinet, you will:

• Lead the architecture and implementation of extensive network security frameworks using Fortinet products including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and others.
• Implement Fortinet SD-WAN and SD-Branch solutions with proficiency in advanced routing and switching protocols.
• Execute firewall migrations with expertise in Fortinet tools, focusing on content filtering and integration with Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Conduct Best Practice Assessments to ensure optimal network security configurations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose infrastructure issues to provide effective resolutions.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Contribute to the enhancement of firewall and network performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Support pre-sales activities by estimating the level of effort for new client engagements.

You will be a good fit as a Network Security Engineer - Fortinet if you are:

• Experienced with design and deployment from a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) background.
• Proficient in utilizing Fortinet solutions including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient EMS, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and others.
• Knowledgeable about routing and switching protocols, Layer-7 content inspection, IDS/IPS, antivirus solutions, and VPN technologies.
• Understanding of protocols such as RADIUS, PKI, IKE, SAML, and LDAP.
• Extensive experience with encryption and authentication protocols.
• Expertise in deploying Fortinet SD-WAN solutions in large-scale environments.
• Skilled in migrating from other vendors like Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco, and SonicWall to Fortinet platforms.
• Understanding of the OSI model and its applications in network design and security.
