Job Details

We are seeking a Data Analyst / Business Analyst with strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills to support high-impact business deliverables. The ideal candidate is experienced in transforming data into insights, conducting process mapping, identifying root causes, and presenting actionable results to stakeholders. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve business processes, enhance reporting, and deliver measurable outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze complex data sets using tools such as Python, R, and SAS.

  • Perform structured problem-solving to identify root causes of business challenges.

  • Conduct process mapping to define critical process steps, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.

  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable deliverables that drive business impact.

  • Support data modeling, forecasting, and quantitative analysis to inform business decisions.

  • Participate in the design and delivery of analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define data requirements and project goals.

  • May provide direction or mentorship to junior analysts as needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4 8 years of related experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in R, Python, and/or SAS for data manipulation and statistical modeling.

  • Experience with Git or other version control tools.

  • Background in Finance or Economics experience with mortgage, fixed-income, or financial modeling is highly preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional activities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or other industry planning tools.

  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process efficiency.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Exposure to automation or workflow improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of financial analytics, risk modeling, or quantitative finance.


Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.

  • Advanced degree preferred.
