Role: Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure / Dynamics 365) with Financial Domain in IL 

Location: Chicago, IL
 

Job Description

Experience Required

  • 8+ years of overall experience, with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
  • Minimum 7+ years implementing, configuring, and developing Dynamics 365 CE solutions in a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret business and technical requirements to design effective solutions.
  • Participate in technical analysis and create:
    • Technical specifications
    • Architecture, strategy, and guideline documents
  • Design and develop technical architecture aligned with Microsoft best practices.
  • Track development progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Communicate technical concepts, designs, and solution options clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, maintaining a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ensure adherence to product best practices and quality standards.
  • Support and mentor team members while maintaining accountability for assigned deliverables.

Technical Skills & Expertise

Core Technologies

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement
  • Azure Cloud and Power Platform
  • Strong knowledge of C# and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
  • Experience with Visual Studio or other IDEs
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational database management systems

Dynamics 365 Expertise

  • Solid understanding of CRM processes within complex enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience with at least two Dynamics 365 modules, such as:
    • Sales
    • Customer Service
    • Field Service
    • Marketing
  • Experience with Power Platform native components and end-to-end software delivery
  • Manufacturing industry CRM experience is a plus

Methodologies & Practices

  • Experience working with Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Microsoft certification in one or more:
    • Dynamics 365 CE modules
    • Microsoft Azure

Candidate Profile

  • A seasoned Dynamics 365 development leader (8–10 years) who understands business challenges and can propose scalable, technology-driven solutions.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to positively influence teams and stakeholders.
