Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Technical Writer - Generative AI & IT Security Architecture for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 8 months, through EOY 12/31/2024

Estimated pay range: $59.25 - $74.07 hour per client contract and candidate skills, experience and work location.

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and play a crucial role in documenting our company s Generative AI (GenAI) standards, aligning with best practices, and enhancing our security architecture playbook and reference materials.
  • You ll collaborate closely with IT teams (Security, Infrastructure, and developers) to ensure accurate and effective communication of technical concepts.

Responsibilities

  • GenAI & LLM Framework - Standards and Guidelines:
  • Work closely with Security, Enterprise, and Infrastructure architects to understand GenAI requirements, principles, and best practices.
  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for GenAI standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Research industry best practices and stay current with emerging trends in IT security and Generative AI.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and the company s strategic goals.
  • Security Architecture - Playbook and Reference Design Materials:
  • Collaborate with IT Security to enhance our security architecture playbook.
  • Develop detailed reference design materials that cover security aspects such as application, infrastructure, networking, and risk management.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and project managers.
  • Translate complex technical information into user-friendly content.
  • Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, consistency, and accuracy.

Qualifications Experience:

  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their application in a corporate setting.
  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong ability to understand and document complex technical systems and processes.
  • Experience with documenting IT policies, procedures, process flow charts and creating technical design documentation including network and system architecture diagrams.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical jargon into accessible content.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools and platforms.
