job summary:

This position is responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining Network Infrastructure environments for all mobile and network attached devices. The position requires high level of expertise in installing, setup, configuring, deploying, HW/SW refresh, upgrading, trouble shooting, and maintenance of Network Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IDS/IPS, Network Switches, some Unix/Windows OS based systems and peripherals in a WAN/LAN/SAN/Cloud environment, assists with researching and testing new hardware and software products. The position will work closely with other IT support departments.


Install, support and maintain Network/Systems Infrastructure both hardware and software.


Install support and maintain network technologies such as Cisco Routers, Switches, IOS/NX-OS software, VPN, Palo Alto & Cisco Firewalls, SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki Wireless platform, DNS, DHCP, Hybrid AD/AZURE Domains


Monitoring network usage and utilization.


Ensure the most cost-effective and efficient use of network routing protocols such as IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, & OSPF.


Ensure that all IT equipment complies with industry security standards.


Analyze and resolve network faults relating to network routing issues.


Work closely with other departments or organizations and collaborate with other IT staff.


Suggesting and providing IT solutions aligning with business goals and objectives.


Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from a major network system crash to routing issues.


Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security for all network zones Cloud, DMZ, LAN, WAN, & External.


Configuration and administration of Cisco routers, switches, & firewalls. Analysis of inter and intra office application traffic data.


Configuration and administration of site-to-site static, dynamic, and remote access VPN tunnels.


Ensuring proper installation of IT Hardware, IT Software, T1, PRI, SIP, Multilink, & Ethernet data/voice circuits.

Network engineering: 5 years (Required)
