Sr. Business Systems Analyst / MicroStrategy / (BI)

Overview

Seeking a sharp, articulate Sr. BA/Product Owner with exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, detail-driven approach. This role supports BI products tied to production and post-production finance, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver accurate reporting and executive-level insights.

Must Haves

• MicroStrategy (cloud/MCE preferred)


• Business Intelligence experience (dashboards, reporting, data workflows)


• SQL/database knowledge and ability to work with querying languages


• Outstanding communication skills across technical and non-technical teams


• Experience preparing data for visualizations and supporting BI reporting tools


• Ability to manage multiple application types (vendor tools, financial systems, workflows, POCs)

Preferred

• Studio/production lifecycle knowledge


• Financial analytics or dashboard experience


• Familiarity with PowerBI/Tableau or other BI tools


• Agile Product Owner certification

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and design dashboards/visualizations in MicroStrategy.


• Train users, run demos, and support iterative updates.


• Partner with developers on complex reporting needs and data modeling.


• Define and groom Jira user stories; manage enhancements and reporting requests.


• Support BI Architect and oversee vendor reporting software.


• Maintain application administration (access audits, cloud instance updates).


• Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to product vision and roadmap.
