Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead (L5) with a strong technical background and proven leadership capabilities to lead a team of 5-10 development engineers. As a Team Lead, you'll play an integral role in not only driving project success but also mentoring and developing your team to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 2+ years in leadership roles, and excel in fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a development team of 5-10 engineers, setting expectations and fostering a motivating, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • Delivery Oversight: Plan project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure delivery commitments are met while balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between the engineering team and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Mentorship and Career Development: Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and opportunities for career development to empower team members and foster professional growth.
  • Team Planning: Manage team structure, including hiring, onboarding new team members, and allocating resources to meet business objectives.
  • Obstacle Removal: Identify and eliminate blockers that could impact team productivity and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce development processes to ensure high-quality code, robust systems, and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Strategic Alignment: Translate business goals into clear, actionable technical requirements and ensure their execution aligns with broader organizational objectives.

  • Team consistently meets or exceeds project delivery goals.
  • High employee engagement reflected through team satisfaction surveys and low voluntary attrition rates.
