Description : CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
6.1.1. At the direction of the Department, coordinate with the Department BRFSS Coordinator to produce the annual BRFSS Report approved for posting on the Florida Department of Health BRFSS website. 6.1.2. At the direction of the Department, coordinate with the Department Youth Survey Coordinator to produce and disseminate approved annual FYTS reports for each of Florida s 67 counties. 6.1.3. At the direction of the Department, coordinate with the Department Contract Manager to conduct data analysis and interpretation. 6.1.4. At the direction of the Department, produce a minimum of eight epidemiological analyses or custom requests using BRFSS or FYS data. 6.1.5. At the direction of the Department, author or co-author a minimum of five abstracts using BRFSS or FYTS data for submission to local, state, or national venues within 60 days of request. 6.1.6. At the direction of the Department, author or co-author a minimum of one approved manuscript for submission to a peer-reviewed journal. 6.1.7. At the direction of the Department, participate in ad hoc meetings with the BRFSS and FYTS coordinators, as well as stakeholders to discuss data needs and special projects.
Skills : CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Contractor staff assigned to this agreement must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: 5.1. Experience in public health or related field. 5.2. Three years of experience with various statistical software packages including SAS, SUDAAN, R, and SPSS. 5.3. Three years of experience conducting data analyses for reports, presentations, publications, or studies. 5.4. Experience using written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills to enable collaboration with various staff members and program partners. 5.5. Experience with population-based survey data including the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS), the Florida Youth Tobacco Survey (FYTS), and the Prenatal Risk Assessment Maternal Survey (PRAMS).
