World Wide Technology is looking for a IT Team Lead / Program Manager. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $65.00 to $70.00 hourly on W2 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.

Job Title: IT Team Lead / Program Manager (AI & Cybersecurity Focus)

Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX preferred

Duration: 24+ month contract

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Team Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives across our organization. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic program management, ensuring our IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and AI initiatives align with business goals. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong background in IT operations, project management, and emerging technologies particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Program Management or Team Lead role
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-level projects across multiple teams or business units.
  • Familiarity with AI, data analytics, and machine learning concepts a major plus
  • Hands-on understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and tools
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of IT professionals, software engineers, and analysts.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT and digital transformation projects from requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support.
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure project alignment with organizational strategy, compliance standards, and performance metrics.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or PMP certification preferred).
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with business acumen.
  • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to assess risks, develop policies, and implement best practices for data protection and threat mitigation.
  • Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives involving AI/ML tools, data analysis, or predictive systems to enhance operations or customer engagement.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and evaluate potential applications for organizational advantage.
