Job Description:
A government agency is seeking an experienced Geospatial Data Structure Specialist to support the development and implementation of an online permitting and address-management platform. The specialist will analyze, integrate, design, test, and deploy modern GIS-enabled workflows that replace legacy permitting and mapping systems.

• Develop and maintain GIS-based building layers, especially for retrofit and inspection programs.

• Automate geospatial data workflows using GIS tools to eliminate manual processes.

• Configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain GIS map services for internal applications.

• Build Python scripts to automate geospatial data processing, editing, validation, and quality control.

• Perform spatial and attribute queries for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.

• Use Python, ArcGIS, SQL/PL-SQL to maintain and improve data integrity across geospatial datasets.

• Strong experience with ESRI ArcGIS 10.x and related tools for creating, editing, and managing geospatial data.

• Solid understanding of geospatial principles, symbology, data modeling, and enterprise GIS standards.

• Hands-on experience using Python and SQL for automated workflows and data quality checks.

• Skilled in data loading, conversion, troubleshooting, and maintaining metadata for enterprise GIS systems.
