ECS is seeking an OSINT/PAI Trainer to join our Fort Bragg, NC team in support of an intelligence related program.
The OSINT/PAI Trainer is responsible for providing training and instruction on OSINT methodologies, tools, and techniques to individuals or groups. Their duties and job descriptions may include:
- Developing Training Programs: OSINT Trainers/Instructors design and develop comprehensive training programs that cover various aspects of OSINT, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Create training materials, lesson plans, and exercises to facilitate effective learning.
- Conducting Training Sessions: Deliver training sessions to individuals or groups, either in-person or through virtual platforms. Provide instruction on OSINT tools, techniques, and best practices, ensuring participants understand how to gather and analyze information from open sources effectively and within their authorities and regulations.
- Demonstrating OSINT Tools: Trainers/Instructors will showcase the use of OSINT tools and technologies, demonstrating their functionalities and capabilities. Guide participants on how to leverage these tools to extract relevant information from open sources, such as social media platforms, websites, and public databases.
- Providing Hands-on Exercises: To enhance learning, Trainers/Instructors design and facilitate hands-on exercises and simulations. These exercises allow participants to apply their knowledge and practice using OSINT tools and techniques in real-world scenarios.
- Offering Guidance and Support: Throughout the training program, Trainers/Instructors provide guidance and support to participants, answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering advice on effective OSINT practices. They ensure participants have a clear understanding of the concepts and can apply them independently.
- Staying Updated: OSINT Trainers/Instructors stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of OSINT. They continuously update their knowledge and skills to incorporate new tools, techniques, and emerging trends into their training programs.
Required Skills
- Must have associate's degree OR a minimum of 5 years' experience in OSINT.
- Must possess a current TS/SCI
- Must have strong writing and grammar skills
- Must have effective time management skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and providing course instruction.
Desired Skills
- Experience with collaboration across DoD entities.
- Experience working within the Open Source environment, and managed attribution.
- Ability to perform Tier 1 troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Commercial Off the Shelf Open Source tools.
- Familiarity with Intelligence report dissemination platforms.
- Familiarity with intelligence collection methods, source evaluation, and the intelligence
