PostgreSQL Sr Level AWS Redshift REMOTE

Must Haves:

1. PostgreSQL Sr Level
2. AWS Redshift
   Must live in the following states to be considered: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Texas, Colorado, Montana, Rhode Island, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada
   
3. senior PostgreSQL Database Developer, including pgplsql.
4. Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving operational database challenges.
5. Proven experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive optimization.
6. Writing complex SQL statements and performance tuning.
7. Knowledge of AWS Redshift, Lambda, step functions, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, is highly desirable.
8. Knowledge of Amazon Aurora and no-SQL databases is a plus.
9. Experience working with data pipelines.
10. In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring).
11. Experience using AWS RDS to manage and monitor cloud-based database hosts.
12. System architecture thinking.
13. Proficient with git.
14. Experience with data mesh, domain-driven design, and/or data lake architecture.
15. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability under tight deadlines.
16. Excellent communication skills.
17. Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications.
18. Familiarity working with .Net Framework, Java/JDBC, and Node.js.
19. Excellent analytical and organizational skills..
20. Attention to detail.
21. An ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
22. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills.
23. Experience working in Agile/Scrum Methodology.
24. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office applications.
25. Proficiency using AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).
