Title: Sr QA Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and smoke testing across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and identify potential issues early.
- Manage defect lifecycle identify, log, track, and verify defect fixes using tools like Jira, HP ALM, or similar.
- Participate in release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in an Agile or hybrid development process.
- Conduct database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.
- Support test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium, UFT, LoadRunner, or Cypress.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
- Ensure QA documentation (test cases, test results, and reports) is complete and up to date.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and testing.
- Proven experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium or other automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for database testing (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP Quality Center, TestRail).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative Agile team.
