Job Overview:
The Operations (Tech) | Level 2 role is a critical position within the Executive Service Team, dedicated to providing top-tier technology support to senior executives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities. The candidate will act as a trusted technology advisor, ensuring seamless technology experiences for senior management while maintaining a focus on security and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues for senior executives (VIPs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop technologies and mobile devices (both personal and firm-issued).
- Coordinate technology services, including procurement, multimedia, mobile, and telephony support.
- Handle non-standard technology requests and provide home support visits as needed.
- Support quarterly board meetings for Executives and Directors.
- Collaborate with global IT service teams to ensure seamless support for senior managers.
- Communicate scheduled outages, system upgrades, and new application deployments to executives.
- Proactively monitor all technology used by executives to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide off-hours remote support for technical issues as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of experience in the technology service space.
- Proven experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment, preferably in financial services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in supporting Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Blackberry Work, iOS devices, Intune, and Mobile Iron.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Windows Desktop (Windows 10/11).
- Active Directory skills.
- PowerShell scripting skills.
- Experience with tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Extrahop, and Sysinternal tools.
- Telephony expertise.
Additional Notes:
- Hybrid work model with up to 4 days a week on-site in the New York office (may increase to 5 days depending on events).
- Occasional travel to the Westchester office may be required.
- Potential for conversion to a permanent role.
