Job Description:

We are seeking for a strong Lead Technical Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will provide consulting services to clients in the areas of business analysis and process improvement. The role involves working with clients to understand their business requirements, conducting business analysis, and developing recommendations for process improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology and contribute to large scale data processing framework initiatives related to enterprise strategy deliverables
  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Oversee the data integration work, including developing a data model, maintaining a data warehouse and analytics environment, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of data information policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues and achieve strategic goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and test data pipelines and software solutions to support regulatory reporting (FR 2052a).
  • Create and maintain documentation including test plans, technical designs, and user stories.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide implementation support and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
  • Proactively propose innovative solutions and improvements to enhance system performance and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues and consult for remediation.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Corporate Treasury, Accounting, or Forecasting at large financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of banking products and funding mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical skills in balance sheet, liquidity, and capital analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting, especially FR 2052a, is a strong plus.
  • Strong experience with data analysis, business and technical writing, and testing.
  • Knowledge of liquidity management, capital markets, or financial risk management.
  • Experience working in agile environments, Jira, Confluence.
  • 2+ years' experience writing SQL.
Preferred, but not required:
  • Familiarity with Informatica and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
  • Experience with large-scale data warehouse environments. Star schema dimensional model.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
