About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Kony (Temenos Quantum) Developer to lead the design, development, integration, and modernization of enterprise-grade mobile applications within the Banking & Financial Services domain.

This role requires deep expertise in Kony Visualizer, MobileFabric, enterprise integrations, and Java/Spring MVC frameworks, along with the ability to mentor junior developers, ensure best practices, and drive innovation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile solutions that meet regulatory standards and evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Application Development

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and enhancement of mobile applications using Kony Visualizer (Free Form Architecture).

  • Modernize legacy hybrid applications (Cordova-based) into advanced mobile frameworks.

• Backend & Middleware Development

  • Build and manage backend services using Kony MobileFabric, including service orchestration, authentication, and preprocessors.

  • Integrate with enterprise backend systems via Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, SOAP/REST APIs.

• Database & Performance Optimization

  • Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries using Oracle and PostgreSQL (RDBMS).

  • Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Testing, Debugging & Deployment

  • Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and deployment using tools such as Android Studio, Eclipse, and mobile development toolsets.

  • Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices for seamless delivery.

• Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and provide ongoing technical guidance.

  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Compliance & Security

  • Ensure all solutions adhere to banking and financial regulatory compliance, data security standards, and SLA-driven service commitments.

  • Implement mobile security best practices, MDM integration, and secure deployment strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience

  • 15+ years in software development, including 10+ years in mobile application development.

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with Kony/Temenos Quantum (Visualizer & MobileFabric).

• Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, SOAP/REST APIs.

  • Advanced skills in Android development, debugging, testing, and deployment.

  • Proven experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, including database performance tuning.

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Cordova and hybrid app development.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, test automation, and agile delivery.

• Domain Knowledge

  • Prior experience working in Banking or Financial Services is highly preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of mobile performance tuning, mobile security, and enterprise-grade mobile deployments.

• Certifications

  • Kony/Temenos Quantum certifications are strongly preferred.

• Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
