Quality Engineer - Manufacturing (Die Cast & Machining Focus)

Full-time | On-site

Are you a quality-driven engineer who thrives on solving problems and making processes better? Join our team as a Quality Engineer and take the lead in driving improvements in die cast and machining operations to deliver top-notch products to our customers.


We're committed to excellence in everything we do - from the shop floor to customer delivery. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our quality systems meet the highest standards while partnering with teams across engineering, tooling, and production.



What You'll Do

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone tools


  • Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and inspection documentation


  • Manage PPAP submissions - including dimensional layouts, capability studies, and material certs


  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions


  • Conduct internal and layered audits to ensure quality compliance


  • Interface directly with customers on quality issues, containment, and resolution


  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality standards into daily operations


  • Analyze ERP and quality data to identify trends and drive improvements


  • Support ISO/IATF 16949 system maintenance and audits


  • Train production staff on quality tools and techniques





Support for New Program Launches

  • Participate in APQP activities for new programs and design changes


  • Review design/manufacturing updates for quality impacts


  • Support first article inspections and sample submissions





What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field


  • 2-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering (die cast, machining, or automotive preferred)


  • Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, and GD&T


  • Experience with ISO/IATF 16949 quality systems


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/data reporting tools
