Quality Engineer - Manufacturing (Die Cast & Machining Focus)
Full-time | On-site

We're committed to excellence in everything we do - from the shop floor to customer delivery. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our quality systems meet the highest standards while partnering with teams across engineering, tooling, and production.
What You'll Do
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone tools
- Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and inspection documentation
- Manage PPAP submissions - including dimensional layouts, capability studies, and material certs
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Conduct internal and layered audits to ensure quality compliance
- Interface directly with customers on quality issues, containment, and resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality standards into daily operations
- Analyze ERP and quality data to identify trends and drive improvements
- Support ISO/IATF 16949 system maintenance and audits
- Train production staff on quality tools and techniques
Support for New Program Launches
- Participate in APQP activities for new programs and design changes
- Review design/manufacturing updates for quality impacts
- Support first article inspections and sample submissions
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 2-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering (die cast, machining, or automotive preferred)
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, and GD&T
- Experience with ISO/IATF 16949 quality systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/data reporting tools
