Job Description:
Type: Contract
Location: Houston, Texas
Schedule: Hybrid
Compensation: $55-65/hr w2
Roles and Responsibilities:
- System Integration: Integrate Sphera solutions with other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency including SAP, Documentum, and Polarian
- Application Maintenance: Maintain the Sphera application, ensuring its optimal performance and availability Maintain forms via Power Apps
- Process Safety Management: Implement and maintain process safety management (PSM) systems in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices - Sphera
- Management of Change (MOC): Manage the MOC process within the Sphera application, ensuring all changes are properly documented, reviewed, and approved
- User Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on the use of the Sphera application and related processes including documentation and user training
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with stakeholders to implement changes
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards Completion of IRM activity tasks and audit review
- Manage API integration/development
- Oversee the implementation of data integration, data hierarchy, and the creation of data products
- Create new user templates and deployment processes
- Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application engineering and data integration
- Proven experience as a Process Safety/MOC Application Engineer preferred
- Experience with Sphera solutions is preferred
- Azure knowledge preferred
- Familiarity with data architecture and data models
- Strong knowledge of system integration principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
